§ 9. Minimum width of streets.

  • Be it further ordained, etc., that the minimum right-of-way width for major streets shall be 80 feet and one-half major street right-of-way width shall be dedicated when major street is along the border of the land subdivided. No secondary street right-of-way shall be less than 50 feet in width.

    Where the topography or special conditions prevail, the planning commission and the mayor and city council may approve street right-of-way of less width if they deem it necessary. Off-street loading zones will be required in commercial areas.
