§ 16. Permit fees; refunds for gas and water meter installations; participation in costs of water system.

Be it further ordained, etc., that the city may establish an equitable permit fee for subdivision construction, such fee being paid by the owner or subdivider, the amount of the fee being directly related to the construction value of the proposed subdivision improvements, and representing a partial recovery of the cost incurred in administration of the city's obligations as set forth herein.

The city may establish a policy for a system of refunds for gas and water meter installations in the completed subdivision.

The city may establish a policy for a participation in the cost of water system within new subdivisions where the requirements for fire protection dictate the design of the system rather than the requirements for domestic use.
