§ 15. City to furnish assistance with design of proposed improvements.

  • Be it further ordained, etc., that the city shall furnish such assistance to the owner or subdivider as may be of aid in the proper design of proposed subdivision improvements. These assistants may consist of location and elevation of known and accepted benchmarks, location of existing utilities adjacent to the proposed development, necessary controlling data for the proper design of drainage systems, and such other data or record prints as may be of aid to the owner or subdivider and in the possession of or available to the city.

    The city shall also furnish a complete review of all construction plans, including design data.

    The city shall make periodic inspections of subdivision construction under progress, and shall advise and consult with the owner or subdivider where such advice and consultation may be mutually beneficial.

    The city shall witness all tests of water and gas mains and sanitary sewers.

    The city shall make an independent final inspection of all subdivision improvements, prior to final acceptance by the city.
