§ 20. Penalty.

Be it further ordained, etc., that any person, partnership or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this ordinance or aids or abets in the violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500.00, or imprisonment not exceeding 60 days, or both in the discretion of the mayor of the City of Port Allen, Louisiana. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
